Blauberg Group takes part in the German ISH Expo

From 14 through 18 March the German city of Frankfurt am Main hosted ISH 2017 "Water. Energy. Life" expo – the world's leading trade fair for installation technology and HVACR industry.

From 14 through 18 March the German city of Frankfurt am Main hosted ISH 2017 "Water. Energy. Life" expo – the world's leading trade fair for installation technology and HVACR industry. Almost 2,500 exhibitors from 61 countries launched their latest products onto the world market on an area of 260,000 square metres. The Blauberg Group showcased its newest offerings marketed under Blauberg Ventilatoren, Vents, Zern Engineering and Blauberg Motoren brands.

Blauberg Ventilatoren

Blauberg Ventilatoren presented a wide range of ErP2018 compliant energy-efficient ventilation solutions designed to reduce equipment operating costs. Among the latest low-energy products displayed at the brand's booth the visitors were presented the compact suspended heat recovery units for flats and detached houses. The units on display were equipped with EC motors and rotary heat exchangers.

The KOMFORT EC S5B200 wall-mounted units in EPP casings stirred a significant interest among the booth visitors. Besides outstanding technical performance (maximum air capacity 260 m3/h and maximum heat recovery efficiency 98 %) the units feature a casing made of extruded polypropylene (EPP) – a significant improvement over the previous generation.  In addition to being safe, stable at elevated temperatures and UV-resistant EPP provides excellent sound and heat insulation. Air handling units in EPP casings are easy to install thanks to their low weight (approximately 13 kg).

Representatives of construction companies and equipment installers highly appreciated the BlauFast system of semi-rigid ducts for supply and exhaust ventilation systems with heat recovery. These systems offer numerous advantages such as quick and easy installation and suitability for installation in both floors and walls without any special tools. These durable air vents are capable of withstanding high loads and can be seamlessly integrated with BlauPlast ducts

Intelligent ventilation solutions were represented by the best-selling VENTO series air handling units with WiFi control and the new FRESHBOX 100 model with a touch-sensitive control panel.

Visitors looking for single-space ventilation equipment could sample the CIVIC EC free-standing and suspended-mounted units. With an air capacity up to 550 m3/h and energy efficiency up to 97 % these quiet units do not require any ducting which makes installation extremely easy. The CIVIC series models are designed to provide a comfortable microclimate in public spaces and educational establishments with a large number of occupants (e.g. schools, public libraries or offices).

VENTS

The VENTS booth featured the latest domestic and industrial ventilation solutions which combine improved performance and functionality (such as WiFi control) as well as easy installation offered by the units equipped with heat exchangers that do not require any extra ducting. It should be noted that the VENTS products showcased at this year's event are compliant with the Ecodesign Directive.

The new additions to the domestic line of ventilation products included the VENTS Style series low-noise supply fans. The company also showed the Style Eco model which offers record-breaking energy efficiency and comes with a host of intelligent features. The unit provides maximum air capacity of 101 m3/h while keeping noise well under control for an optimum microclimate in the serviced spaces. The power consumption is a stunning 3 W thanks to a DC motor running on roller bearings. The Style Eco LED model also has an LED panel with multi-colour ambient lighting and has a WiFi module. Among the updated domestic models the company showed the VENTS Quiet silent-running fans in a stylish casing with an air capacity up to 370 m3/h and the unique Lumis axial fans with a built-in light.

The visitors of the VENTS booth had a chance to sample a wide range of energy-efficient industrial ventilation products. In particular, the updated TT-MD ЕС duct fan series combines the versatility and impressive performance of axial and centrifugal fans which results in a powerful air flow and high pressure. The fans equipped with an EC motor whose efficiency reaches a staggering 90 % provide an air capacity of up to 11,000 m3/h while offering excellent noise control. The noise-insulated family of duct fans was represented by the ТТ Silent-MD model in a heat and noise-insulated casing which offers a maximum air capacity of 4,370 m3/h. The VKM EC model holds a special place in the VENTS line-up of centrifugal duct fans. The ЕС used in the VKM series helped substantially reduce power consumption (by some 35 %) while retaining the signature aerodynamic characteristics and low noise levels.

The VENTS also showcased a number of ventilation products for smoke extraction from covered car parts and garages (such as VPVO pressurisation fan and JAF pulse fan).

Blauberg Motoren

This year the booth visitors were presented a number of new products such as the new-generation line of energy-saving EC fans rated 80W and 170W, the innovative Plug-Fan fastening system for an easy and convenient installation of fans in the vertical or horizontal position while ensuring high aerodynamic performance of the setup. The company also showed its innovative fans equipped with high-performance backward curved plastic impellers.

Zern Engineering

Zern Engineering brought a wide range of heat exchangers which help reduce the energy costs of ventilation and air conditioning systems including rotary heat exchangers, counterflow enthalpy heat exchangers in plastic casings and four-sided cross-flow enthalpy heat exchangers. Air handling units with Zern Engineering enthalpy heat exchangers help maintain an optimum humidity level and a healthy microclimate in the serviced spaces while keeping the energy bills low. A polymer membrane of the heat exchanger provides efficient heat and moisture retention. The impermeable barrier between the supply and extract air streams eliminates any chance of organic particle and odor transfer. The R-EX rotary heat exchangers offer the extra benefits of a high heat transfer and energy efficiency as well as rotor speed control.
