In the beginning of March the VENTS embarked on a journey to Cologne, one of Germany’s major economic and cultural hubs to take part in the International Hardware Fair 2016. For three days the company showcased its high-tech ventilation equipment made to the highest European standards.

The 2016 fair attracted over 2,670 exhibitors from more than 55 countries while the total attendance topped 44,000 visitors from 124 countries worldwide. Besides German companies playing on the home turf there were many companies from France, the United Kingdom, Italy and Spain. The exhibition sprawled over a vast space in four two-storey halls.

The recent years have been marked by a rising demand for energy-saving solutions and green technology. These trends were discussed at the thematic workshops and covered in the interactive equipment demonstrations.

Attending the fair for the fifth consecutive year the VENTS team took the best advantage of the opportunity to present its latest products and make promising contacts with the international audience. The company booth showcased various ventilation products for DIY networks such as domestic fans, grilles, PVC and flexible air ducts and inspection doors. VENTS also brought its best-selling energy-saving solutions – the TwinFresh and MICRA units with heat recovery efficiency up to 90%.

The guests had a chance to sample the newly introduced Quiet-Style and Lumis axial fans as well as the quiet VENTS Quietline duct fan model. Each of the above fans has a unique advantage. For example the Quiet-Style has a patented Mix Flow impeller and a flow straightener for an optimum combination of low noise levels and high performance. The unique Lumis 100 axial fan with integrated lighting consumes very little energy yet is capable of providing enough light for a small room such as a bathroom, a toilet or a kitchen. The updated ventilation accessories included ventilation grilles (103 and 108 series) and a new family of Plastivent PVC ducts (220×90 mm).

The visitors of the VENTS booth were offered an exciting hands-on experience of a wide range of versatile domestic, crossover and industrial equipment designed and engineered for easy installation and operation with an emphasis on its elegant design and practicality. According to the poll 67% of International Hardware Fair 2016 visitors were satisfied with the exhibition. Over the 3 days the VENTS booth was attended by over 300 people resulting in 150 promising contacts to contribute to a global promotion of the VENTS brand. Among others the VENTS products received high accolades from representatives of Leroy Merlin, Bricostor and Bricorama chains as well as major buying groups and companies such as Kingfisher, Adeo and Xenex.
