The British branch of The Blauberg Group, Blauberg UK exhibited at the Ecobuild exhibition 2017, taking place at the Excel centre in London 6th-9th March. Over 20,000 forward-thinking industry professionals attended the event to explore the latest innovations from more than 450 leading exhibitors. Attendees joined the Redefining Sustainability debate and discussed the key issues currently facing the built environment.
Ecobuild 2017 was also the debut product presentation for Blauberg UK, who were well received into the UK market and experienced a great flow of visitors and other exhibitors to the stand. Blauberg UK staff had three busy days full of meetings with company directors, engineers, installers, architects and the general public, resulting in many promising memorandums of future business relationships.
Ventilation systems showcased by Blauberg UK included single-room supply and exhaust units, high-performance duct fans with EC motors and BlauAIR air handling units. All Blauberg products comply with 2018 ErP requirements and are designed to reduce equipment operating costs.
Blauberg UK displayed a number of new arrivals – in particular, the Calm line of domestic axial fans. With a maximum air capacity of 375 m3/h, the new fans require no more than 7.5 W and generate minimum noise levels (25 dB(A)). The Calm series automatic control system has also been upgraded to 5 operating modes. The new Calm models are available in a variety of colours including white, red, black and chrome. The Calm DC – 1.7 W model is the top-of-the-line model in terms of energy efficiency.
Ecobuild visitors expressed a great interest in the Komfort EC SB200 air handling unit and the BlauFast semi-rigid air duct systems. Creating efficient air exchange control solutions at minimal running costs is of paramount importance to The Blauberg Group and the Komfort unit demonstrates this perfectly. The unit provides comprehensive ventilation of serviced spaces, including stale air extraction, fresh air supply and air heating with a maximum air flow rate of 260 m3/h. The power consumption of the ЕС motor used in the Komfort units is 2-3 times lower compared to a conventional motor. This energy efficiency is due to the heat exchanger, which transfers the heat from the extract air to the supply air stream with an energy efficiency rating of 94 %.
The real show stopper of the stand however, was the Blauberg Turbo EC duct fan with a record-breaking air capacity of up to 1,995 m3/h. This new product combines the high performance of axial and centrifugal fan technology, which results in powerful air flow and high pressure, alongside outstanding energy efficiency ЕС motors that offer optimum control across the entire speed range.
The Blauberg stand also featured some of the groups best-selling MVHR products, including the freestanding Civic decentralised unit and the wall mounted VENTO units, including the VENTO Expert A50-1 W single-room air handling unit with heat recovery and Wi-Fi control, VENTO Eco A50 and VENTO Expert DUO A30-1 W unit. These decentralised units proved to provide great solutions for architects, consultants and contractors who were looking for ideal ventilation products for retro fitting and for ventilation needs where long duct runs are not possible or loft space is unavailable.
Ecobuild 2017 was a busy and insightful week for Blauberg UK. The Blauberg Groups products, including BRE tested and Passive House certified MVHR units were well received into the UK market and Blauberg UK are looking forward to exhibiting again in 2018.
