In late February 2018 the German capital hosted bautec 2018 international trade fair for building and construction technology.

Held biannually since 1981 bautec is one of the largest and most influential events in the industry. Every year the trade fair attracts numerous architects, engineers and construction company representatives from all over the world. This year the bautec organisers placed a particular emphasis on sustainable residential housing and energy-efficient construction technology, which, in particular, includes air handling units with heat recovery.

Blauberg Ventilatoren brought a host of products including domestic fanssingle-room ventilation units with heat recovery and air handling units.

The company showcased a number of new arrivals including Blauberg Komfort EC in an expanded polypropylene (EPP) casing. The visitors of the company booth were presented the model for vertical installation on walls or the floor and its suspended-mounted variant. This energy-efficient and environmentally friendly unit, which tips the scales at just 14 kg, offers outstanding heat recovery efficiency of up to 98%.

The visitors also appreciated the Freshbox 100 ventilation unit with heat recovery designed for public and commercial spaces.

The models on display also included VENTO series single-room ventilation units by Blauberg. This equipment is extremely popular in Europe and in Germany in particular – and not without reason. The units of the VENTO series are designed to ensure maximum occupant comfort and energy savings in flats and houses.
