VENTS at the 40th anniversary Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE)

From 15 through 18 March the Italian city of Milan hosted the Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) specialised trade fair.

From 15 through 18 March the Italian city of Milan hosted the Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) specialised trade fair. Dating back to 1960 this international exposition offers a complete showcase of cutting-edge technology and equipment in heating, water supply, ventilation and air conditioning. The exhibitors’ products are scrupulously assessed by over 155 thousand visitors from 55 countries worldwide (Japan, Turkey, the UAE, the USA, Hungary, Austria, Spain, Italy and others).  This trade fair provides an excellent opportunity for sharing experience, discussing the challenges faced by the industry, demonstrating innovative solutions and know-how in such areas as ventilation, electrical supply, solar systems and intelligent building management systems.

Every 2 years the VENTS team travels to MCE to showcase both its best-selling products in the domestic, commercial and industrial lines as well as its latest advances in smart ventilation. This year’s display included supply and exhaust units, single-room ventilation solutions, roof fans, duct and noise-insulated fans, the iFan intelligent fan with an integrated automatic control system, the КАМ chimney extract fan which helps reduce the heating costs as well as destratification and smoke extraction fans.

The new arrivals included the upgraded TwinFresh Expert energy-saving ventilator with a Wi-Fi module for comprehensive microclimate control across the entire home. The user can control the fan speed from anywhere in the flat, set the speed and rotation direction, customise the operation modes and set the timer as well as combine several fans into a single network – all via the free app installed on a mobile device.

Other exciting new offerings included the Lumis 100 – a unique domestic fan with an integrated light which continues the company’s highly successful foray into combining decorative ventilation and lighting. This silent fan light is capable of providing enough light for a toilet, a small bathroom or a kitchen with an LED panel approximately equivalent to a 60 W incandescent bulb. Amazingly Lumis consumes only 24 W.

The company also presented an expansion to its smoke ventilation range – the Jet Fan industrial fans designed for smoke extraction from car parks and enclosed garage spaces.  The fans generate a high-pressure jet of air which forces the smoke and combustion products towards the exhaust shafts. This results in an efficient removal of carbon monoxide from the spaces and a significant improvement of fire safety.

VENTS would like to thank the organisers of MCE-2016 for the wonderful opportunity to present a wide range of the company’s ventilation equipment and collecting the feedback from the numerous guests who had a chance to appreciate all the benefits of the latest energy-saving products from VENTS.
